The Inspiration
It all began when late Mr. Amarjit Singh, on his way back to India via Beirut, tasted the renowned pita bread. He fell in love with it! When he landed in India, he, along with his co-founder and late wife, Mrs. Surinder Kaur Tibb, started innovating and creating the flavorsome “Tibbs Frankie.”
The Birth of Tibbs Frankie
After months of experimentation, they gave birth to the globally desired, wholesome, and 100% freshly prepared Indian snack, “Tibbs Frankie.” A delicious combination of juicy Indian gravy, vegetables, and our astounding “Secret Masala,” all wrapped in a roll! They started selling their mouth-watering mutton curry rolled in a roti from the backseat of their car at the Powai Lake in Mumbai.
The Iconic Name is Born
An interesting legend states that until 1969, this fabulous product didn’t have a name. One evening when Mr. Tibb was watching a historic India vs. West Indies cricket match, the crowd roared "Frankie" to cheer Sir Frank Worrell’s sixer, and there the product got its name. He immediately registered this as a Trademark.

With their hard work, dedication, and vision, “Tibbs Frankie” is now a global enterprise! Ever since, the product has become a favorite of millions. As India's eating preferences changed, Tibbs Frankie evolved from a small snack brand to a modern Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) format where quality and hygiene have been raised to international standards.
Today, the brand proudly boasts of being the favorite Indian snack of young and old, men and women, and many celebrities, industrialists, and the Indian diaspora.
